This couple’s Disney-themed wedding is all kinds of inspiring

This couple’s Disney-themed wedding is all kinds of inspiring

Disney fan? You're going to want to see how this couple themed their wedding around their favourite movies...

If you’re a fan of Disney, chances are you may or may not have considered theming your day around your favourite fairytale film from the iconic movie studio.

However, this couple took things to a whole other level, picking not one but a whole host of Disney films to inspire their day.

Needless to say, the pair in question, lovebirds Ty and Ashley, are both die-hard Disney fans - Ty even proposed during a romantic visit to Disneyland (in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle, no less). So naturally, some of your favourite movies - from The Little Mermaid to Tangled - set the scene for their beautiful wedding reception.

The photos of the couple's autumn 2016 nuptials - taken by Degrees North Photography - will give you some serious #wedspiration. The details are just incredible!

For example: the ceremony took place in a woodland-inspired outdoors venue, the favours were labelled bottles (Alice In Wonderland-style) of sweets, whilst the wedding cake featured tiny sugar-made armchairs, like those belonging to Carl and Ellie in Up.

We. Can’t. Even.

However, it doesn’t end there: it was when it came to the reception tables that Ashley and Ty truly rose the bar - theming each one around a different Disney movie.

So for example, the guests on the Beauty And The Beast table enjoyed a tablecentre comprising of a cloche-held rose, Mrs Potts and Lumiere; the Snow White table featured a look-but-don’t-touch display of poisoned apples; whilst the Cinderella table had its very own gold pumpkin carriage.

The top table - where the happy couple sat with the closest members of their wedding party - offered a throwback reference to Ty’s proposal, themed around Sleeping Beauty and featuring a miniature version of the castle where Ty popped the question.

Amazing, we know.
