Oscar-winning Hollywood superstar Tom Hanks stepped up to play a whole new role at the weekend.
During an appearance at the Texas Book Festival in Austin on Saturday afternoon, Tom helped a couple get engaged.
As in, right there, on stage.
During a Q&A session about his new book, Uncommon Type: Some Stories, Tom declared he had a question of his own to ask. Pulling a sheet of paper out of his pocket, he said an audience member named Ryan McFarling had submitted a question directed to another audience member, Nikki Young.
The question, Hanks said, was simply: "Nikki, will you marry me?"
Ryan, at this point standing up, then dropped down on to one knee and proposed to Nikki.
An in-tears Nikki said yes, the happy couple joined Tom on-stage for a group hug and the rest of the world dreamt of having Tom Hanks help them get engaged, too.
And in case you're wondering: no, Hanks doesn't just do proposals. He also does wedding ceremonies, too, as this couple found out.
