Julia Roberts 'refuses' to attend sister's wedding
Published on 9th May 2013
Julia Roberts has reportedly refused to attend her half-sister's wedding as she 'doesn't approve' of her groom.
The actress - pictured here in the movie Runaway Bride - has said that she will not be involved in Nancy Mote's wedding to John Dilbeck, as she 'doesn't think much of Nancy's husband-to-be'.
Julia was asked to be a bridesmaid at the celebration, but put her foot down about being involved.
A source told Enquirer: "[Julia is] convinced he's sponging off Nancy, who doesn't have much money in the first place. They moved out to L.A from Georgia, and John was working at a Panda Express restaurant. But he quit the job after Nancy landed a gig as a production assistant on Glee."
It was during a day of filming on the set of Glee that John proposed to Nancy, in front of the whole cast and crew.
According to Enquirer, the source also hinted that Julia was wary of the nuptials as she believed she would have to pay for them.
Nancy and John are believed to be marrying later this year.
