If your attitude towards the flowers for your wedding day is the more the merrier, then you’re in luck, as the latest trend for bridal bouquets features blooms and foliage galore. As brides embrace a range of vintage, country and rustic themes for their big days, floral arrangements have become larger, wilder and less structured in response. Previously, trailing styles were out of favour with fashion-forward brides, who were perhaps haunted by black and white photos of their elders holding hefty waterfalls of greenery.
“Thankfully, times are changing and the trailing bouquet looks very different now,” says florist Jay Archer. “Brides should trust their tastes – I’m definitely a fan of the ‘go big or go home’ approach!”
