Rebekah and Derric tied the knot on a farm in the lush hills of Pennysylvania...
Rebekah, 20, a photographer, and Derric, 20, an equipment operator, married at Smoker Farm in Pennsylvania.
We wanted a relaxed wedding where we could dance barefoot under the stars with our favourite people.
The lush backdrop inspired our bohemian countryside theme, and we chose an elegant soft pink palette with subtle accents of gold which shimmered under the evening lights. With the gardens in full bloom, we couldn’t have asked for a more magical setting.
My Christina Woo dress suited my hippy, boho style. I loved its floral detailing and the polka-dot tulle skirt – perfect for dancing and twirling around in!
I love blowsy flowers, so my mum and I put together a posy of garden roses and eucalyptus, and I completed my outfit with a circlet of gypsophila in my hair.
Meanwhile, my bridesmaids wore a selection of different dresses from Forever 21 and Dorothy Perkins in the same pale pink hue.
We hung festoon lighting outside to create the reception area, while the tables were decorated with gold vases overflowing with blush-coloured blooms, smaller vases filled with succulents, and candlesticks.
On a vintage dresser stood three white cakes, all individually decorated. One featured an ornamental, gold-coloured deer topper, another was finished with pink ribbon around each tier, and the third was topped with garden roses.
For added décor, we had chalkboard signs displayed in gilt frames and for our place names, each of our guests’ names were written in calligraphy on white card displayed on pieces of birch wood.
My favourite moment...
The moment my dad saw me in my dress for the first time was really special. And I just loved how everything came together so well on the day.
My tip for brides-to-be...
Be creative and pour your own personality into each and every detail.
Steal their style!
