Shandess and Jason Griffin were brought together by their dogs - so naturally they were included in their nuptials...
Calling all dog-lovers: this story's for you!
Bride Shandess - who runs a doggie daycare centre - told BuzzFeed how the couple devote their spare time to their gorgeous quartet of canines. (Oh and BTW, they've got a fifth pup joining their brood in December!)
Shandess and Jason met via a dating website, with Shandess responding to Jason's initial message only because he said he wanted to go on a walk with her.

"He was excellent with [my dogs] immediately, he knew the breeds and everything," she explains. "They loved him right away, so I said OK, he's a keeper".
Between them, the couple own four dogs: two Bernese Mountain Dogs, an Australian Shepherd mix and a Samoyed.
When he proposed to Shandess in summer 2014, Jason enlisted the gang to help him pop the question.
So naturally, having been the driving force that brought the couple together in the first place, the four dogs played a starring role in their wedding day as well.
Shandess and Jason tied the knot in September 2015, and the canine quartet was supposed to walk down the aisle along with Shandess's bridesmaids. However, when an unexpected downpour changed plans, the dogs were allowed inside the couple's wedding venue - despite its usual strict No Dogs Allowed rule.

This meant the dogs were able to mingle with the couple's guests all evening (as one does, when one is a dog), and also meant they could join their beloved owners for their first dance.
Naturally, it didn't end there: two of the newlyweds' dogs joined them for their honeymoon, as well.
We love - will you be including your pets in your wedding day?
