This jilted bride-to-be had the BEST idea

This jilted bride-to-be had the BEST idea

Kilee Manulak's fiancé called off their wedding plans via text - and so she gathered her bridesmaids and had some fun...

When Florida bride-to-be Kilee Manulak's fiancé called off their wedding (via text message!) the week of their nuptials, she decided to still hold a celebration - but of a very different kind.

Kilee gathered together her five bridesmaids and decided to hold a 'wreck the dress' party.

Talking to TV station WFLA about, Kilee said: "I got a text message saying he didn't want to marry me. I just kind of went numb".

Kilee continued: "And my maid of honour, my mom and my family and all my friends just kinda helped me call people and just let 'em know the wedding was over. And ugh - I was just so devestated".

We bet!

However, Kilee didn't let the cancellation get her down, and instead decided to grab her bridesmaids and head to a local event called Colour Fun Fest, a 5km fun-run which coats participants in colourful powder along the route.

Kilee - wearing her wedding dress - and her quintet of maids decided to 'wreck' their dresses at the festival - and we think they managed it rather spectacularly.

The group of women are shown on camera at the event, covering themselves in the powder - see ya later, pristine white wedding dress!

Kilee didn't want to destroy the dress, explaining: "I wanted to keep my dress, I wanted to maybe alter it, or do something new to it. But I definitely didn’t want to destroy it".

We think those colourful streaks certainly make for a gorgeous 'something new' twist - would you be tempted to 'wreck' your dress after your big day?
