Golden Globe Awards 2016: bridal style galore!

Golden Globe Awards 2016: bridal style galore!

Written by Katie Byrne

Bride-to-be Eva Longoria, Cinderella star Lily James and more picked wed-worthy shades of white and ivory for their red carpet moment...

The Golden Globe Awards took place in Beverly Hills on Sunday evening - and one of the biggest trends we spotted on the red carpet was the A-list adoration of bridal-esque dresses.

From shades of white and ivory to demure cuts and modern finishes, there was a whole scope of wed-worthy inspiration to be spied from Hollywood's leading ladies. We've compiled five of our favourite wed-worthy looks for you below - who's style do you love the most?

Cinderella star Lily James stunned in fairytale-perfect Marchesa. We adore the asymmetric neckline and floaty, Grecian glamour of this gown - perfect for a bohemian summer bride!

Empire star Taraji P. Henson opted for a delightfully understated strapless gown from Stella McCartney Couture, complete with draped cape.

We love the criss-cross back of Alicia Vikander's delicious Louis Vuitton column dress. Pleats and florals are also winners!

Irish beauty Saoirse Ronan was a vision in her low-cut frock from  Yves Saint Laurent Couture, which also gave a nod to this year's trend for caped dresses.

Bride-to-be Eva Longoria opted for a cut-out floral-embroidered dress from Georges Hobeika - perhaps she's giving a nod to the style she'll adopt for her wedding day...?
