A carousel and photobooth were just two of the star features at Linzi and Stephen's dazzling wedding...
Linzi Connell, 34, a solicitor, and Stephen Coe, 32, a software developer, married in a civil ceremony in the grounds of Preston Court, Canterbury.
We chose Preston Court for our venue as we loved everything about it – the beautiful grounds, the stunning organ and the amazing carousel. There were peacocks walking around too!
My dress was Justin Alexander. The moment I put it on and noticed the fabulous train, I knew it was the one. I also loved that it had a detachable bolero.
My bridesmaids carried bouquets of gypsophilia and the groomsmen had them as buttonholes. I had a bouquet of white roses with green foliage, as we didn’t want anything too fussy with the flowers.
At Preston Court there was a vintage organ that was played during the drinks reception and while the guests were enjoying the carousel. Later we had a great DJ who played a whole range of music to create a real party atmosphere.
My brother is a chef and made our cake for us. It was a chocolate brownie with edible flowers and scattered crumbed chocolate around the base.
Stephen got emotional as soon as I walked down the aisle to The Blower's Daughter by Damien Rice. And then I was really moved by his speech that mentioned those no longer with us.
My top tip for brides-to-be: Invest in a great photographer as the pictures will be what you look back on in years to come.
Steal their style...
