Add some extra sparkle to your wedding reception with these easy-peasy craft tutorial...
You will need...
- Bulb vases, £8.99 per set of four, eBay
- Washi tape
- PVA glue
- Gold glitter, £7.50 per 250g shaker, Hobbycraft
#1 Decide which part of the vase you’d like to cover with the glitter – we coated the base of one and the neck of another. Cut and stick a length of washi tape or masking tape around the vase to mark off the area.
#2 Using a paintbrush, apply glue all over the area that the glitter will be applied to. Paste it on fairly thickly to ensure the glass is well covered. Sprinkle glitter all over the glue until it is coated completely; leave to dry.
#3 Once the glitter and glue has dried, peel away the washi tape to reveal the clean edge of the glitter. Cut a length of twine and tie it around the neck of the vase, then hang from the ceiling of your venue and fill with flowers.
