29 ways to theme your wedding around Beauty And The Beast

29 ways to theme your wedding around Beauty And The Beast

Written by Katie Byrne

It's the tale as old as time - so how can you use the classic Disney love story to inspire your celebration?

As the trailer for the reimagining of Disney's classic Beauty And The Beast is released (scroll down to the bottom to watch it!), we're pondering - how can the quintessential fairytale romance be used to inspire a beautiful wedding? Quite easily, it turns out - here's how...

Start with adorable themed invites.

Who doesn't love something pretty arriving in the post? Also: quote-game = strong.

In fact, quotes all over the place wouldn't go amiss.

Don't forget: this is a film crammed with catchphrases. Subtly (or not-so-subtly...) get them in everywhere.

Now: your bridal outfit needs to be something worthy of a true Disney princess.

Happily, Alfred Angelo has partnered with Disney to create a range of wedding dresses inspired by the best-loved leading ladies from its fairytales. And how pretty are these swoon-worthy gold heels?

Heels not your thing?

Customised Toms have got you covered!

When it comes to your bridesmaids, think two key colours: royal blue and buttercup yellow.

So pretty!

Yellow accessories are also the perfect way to add a nod to the theme. (See the rest of Deborah and Ollie's wedding here!)

If you can't persuade your chap to follow the sartorial lead of Beast too thoroughly (left)...

...Perhaps nudge him in the direction of something a little more contemporary instead (right).

To the reception!

Adorn your tables with endless vintage crockery.

Seriously: if you don't have a coherent conversation with a teapot at least once, you're not taking things seriously enough.

There's no such thing as too much!

Think romantic and rustic for your tablecentres...

Anything goes: from stacks of books to flickering candles.

Oh - and don't overlook the possibility of a rose inside a bell jar.

But you'd already thought of that, right?

Magic mirror, anyone?

Literally - mirrors help to make venue spaces look bigger, whilst the fairylights will add some extra atmosphere.

Er - hashtag guestbook goals.

We imagine your cake will be an understated affair...

Well, it can be. From a scattering of rose petals to an all-out castle-made-out-of-delicious-dreams, there's a Beauty-inspired bake to be found for every celebration.

For the ultimate in wow, opt for a creation offering different flavours on each tier.
