You've said 'I do' - but that doesn't mean you should throw away your beautiful bridal blooms
#1 Dry it
This is a basic place to start: rather than discarding your bouquet or - gasp - chucking it out, dry it out to keep your options open. If you haven't decided what you want to do with your bouquet, drying it out will give you a good place to start for most ideas (other than donations). Click here for our fool-proof guide!
#2 Have flowers turned into ornaments or jewellery
This is such a gorgeous idea - you can create paperweights, beads, keyrings... Get creative!
#3 Turn the petals into pot pourri
If you don't mind your bouquet losing its shape, pot pourri is a beautifully fragrant way to keep your flowers alive after the big day. Find out how to DIY it here.
#4 Turn them into decorations
Such a sweet idea! Perfect for hanging from a Christmas tree, this is a gorgeous way to keep the memory of your precious blooms alive.
#5 Frame them
Oh hey there, instant artwork! As well as having your bouquet framed whole in a capacious shadow box, you can also dry and press single stems for a simple but striking finish.
#6 Skip drying and place the flowers on a family member's grave
This is a wonderful way to remember a deceased loved one: the day after your ceremony, leave your bouquet at their graveside. They might not have been able to join you for your big day but you can still include them in it!
