And naturally, the resulting video is totally, utterly gorgeous
Shahr Nouraini and Peter Rushton tied the knot in Mexico earlier this year - and prior to their big day, Peter decided he wanted to do something wonderful to surprise his bride.
Shahr absolutely LOVES dogs, and so the couple's photographer, Sol Tamargo, came up with the idea of enlisting the help of some canine friends to help them mark their big day.
More specifically: he asked the local dog shelter if some of their cutest residents would wear GoPros for the day and film their nuptials from a truly unique view-point.
The couple had already asked for guests to make donations to their local animal shelter, Playa Animal Rescue, in lieu of a gift-list - and Tamargo asked the charity if they could recommend three pups to film the nuptials.
While Shahr was getting ready on her wedding morning, Sol, the three dogs and their handlers entered her hotel room - and Shahr was so over-the-moon with the idea that she burst into tears.
In a blog post shared on the photographer's website, the bride explained: "I thought it was the absolute best surprise ever. Luckily Peter and Sol surprised me with the dogs while the make-up artists were still there, otherwise I probably would have looked a mess!"
The three dogs - named Daphne, Daisy and Zac - were very popular at the wedding, with guests absolutely adoring the fluffy videographer squad.
Says Shahr: “It’s been almost two months since our wedding. The dogs are one of the primary memories that come up when people talk about the day".
