Because happy children = happy wedding guests...
#1 Flower girl or page boy?
Give them something quirky to hold when they walk down the aisle with you - such as a balloon, a wedding-themed teddy bear, a fruity edible bouquet...
#2 Set them a photo challenge
Arm older kids with disposable cameras and a list of pictures you want them to capture throughout the celebration.
#3 Plan DIY food stations...
...Where kids can decorate cupcakes, pick their own pizza toppings and help themselves to other snacks.
#4 Organise colouring-in packs
Make like Hayley and Paul by providing colouring-in sets on your reception tables - simple, sweet and perfect for keeping younger guests entertained during the speeches!

#5 Organise a cinema area
Ask if your venue has a spare space (and even better - a spare TV!), where guests can watch films, supervised by your bridal party in shifts. Obviously the TV won't be on all day - but showing a couple of films (with bowls of popcorn and cups of hot chocolate) for kids to enjoy during the evening will keep them occupied when they're bored of the dancefloor.
#6 Garden games
Always a winner (who doesn't love giant Connect 4?) - just make sure there's an adult on-hand to over see the action!
#7 Pokemon Go
It's all the rage at the moment, so chances are the kids at your wedding will be buzzing at the prospect of finding the Pokemon lurking at your venue! Offer a prize to the child who finds the most exciting or unusual creature!
#8 Organise a treasure hunt
Whether it's searching for plastic wedding rings, chocolate eggs hidden around the venue, clues for a bigger prize...
#9 Toss a teddy bear!
Like the bouquet throw - but for your younger guests! Wonderful idea, no?
