If you're a fan of the magical series, you need to see this!
Calling all Harry Potter fans: this groom's super-thoughtful wedding gift for his bride is #goals.
And now Matt Brocone, from Ohio, has set the bar even higher with his romantic gesture for wife Janine (both pictured top, on their wedding day). The couple tied the knot two years ago, but Matt has only recently shared the story, taking to boredpanda.com to tell the tale last week.
Matt tapped into Janine's adoration of all things Harry Potter, and decided to create her a wand and pensieve (a bowl of memories, for non-HP-fans), which was delivered by none other than Hedwig herself. We know.
Explains Matt: "For those who aren’t Harry Potter fans, a Pensieve is a bowl used to view memories. Dumbledore would use his wand to pull memories from his head and store those memories in bottles. When he’d want to see a particular memory, he’d pour the bottle into the bowl to view it".
Even the bowl was handmade, with Matt taking a series of pottery-making classes to perfect it.
The romantic groom filled glass bottles with notes containing details of the various adventures the couple had shared, packing the finishing bottles into a bowl. The finishing touch? That magnetised wand, which Janine could use to fish the bottles out, one-by-one.
Seriously - glorious idea, no?
Matt also enclosed a series of empty bottles, with a gift tag attached reading: 'For future memories'...
