Adorable flower girl steals her mother's wedding day limelight

Written by Katie Byrne, published 18th jun 2015

The toddler decided she was also the bride...

Okay, so this is adorable.

When her mother Michelle Hall married Anthony Palmer in Tennessee last week, four-year-old Anderson decided she wanted a piece of the bridal excitement all for herself.

So when her mother and step-father posed for a wedding photo - where the couple kissed whilst surrounded by their bridesmaids and ushers - Anderson decided to follow suit, pulling the toddler ring bearer into a similar embrace.

LEGO WEDDING CAKE GOES VIRAL

The amusing photo has since hit the headlines since the June 13th wedding.

Photographer Leah Bullard, who captured the moment, revealed Anderson had been referring to herself as 'the bride' all day - so perhaps it wasn't surprising that Anderson thought Leah was talking to her when she told the bride and groom to kiss for the camera.

Leah added to the Free Press: "I strive to capture the moment of the day. So for me to be able to capture that moment, that's a moment that the families can look back on for years to come and laugh and relive it over again".

TAYLOR SWIFT MAKES COUPLE'S WEDDING DAY EVEN MORE AMAZING

Speaking to news site KOAA, the toddler said: "Guess what! When mama kissed, Ikey and I kissed! I was trying to get Ikey to kiss me".

Anderson also added: "[Ikey] was the best ring bearer ever! And he thought I was the best flower girl ever! We're best friends".

Ikey - the not-exactly-thrilled page boy in question - has yet to comment.
