...Just days after splitting with Calvin Harris, allegedly owing to her desire to want to marry
Taylor Swift did something INCREDIBLE for one of her fans over the weekend.
The pop star gate-crashed the wedding of Kenya Smith and Max Singer, surprising the stunned newlyweds with an impromptu rendition of her song, Blank Space.
The couple tied the knot on June 4 in New Jersey, with Taylor co-ordinating her unexpected performance with the help of Max's sister, Ali.
As Ali explained in an emotional letter to Taylor, Max and his gravely ill mother had enjoyed an emotional dance to Blank Space during her stay at hospital - and he and Kenya had even decided to hold their ceremony at the hospital so that his mum could be a part of the day.
In an emotional performance, Taylor serenaded Max and Kenya with the #1 hit as they twirled on the dancefloor, with the hit-maker encouraging guests to sing along.
The thoughtful star even brought a gift for the couple: a sweet print that read 'So it's gonna be forver', with the couple's names and wedding date completing the design.
Taylor shared a couple of snaps of herself and the happy couple on Instagram, captioning one (left) 'Congratulations Max and Kenya!!!' and another - of just her and the newlyweds - which she tagged 'third wheel'.
The surprise performance marked Taylor's first public appearance since her break-up from Calvin Harris was announced on June 1 - with reports suggesting the couple split because Taylor wanted to get married.
Speaking to HollywoodLife.com, a source revealed: "Taylor is trying her best not to crumble, but this is more than upsetting. She thought they were heading to marriage and babies. They just celebrated their anniversary, this was not something she was expecting".
An insider told the news site: "Taylor was starting to pressure Calvin into walking down the aisle and he just felt that he wasn't ready yet".
