...For a rather lovely reason!
Kylie Minogue has pressed pause on her wedding plans with Joshua Sasse - for a rather lovely reason.
The couple - who announced their engagement earlier this year - are reportedly keen to tie the knot in Kylie's homeland - but have decided they won't say 'I do' until same-sex marriage becomes legal in Australia.
The Australian government will be holding a public vote on same-sex marriage in February next year - with Joshua and Kylie both at the heart of the 'yes' campaign.
Speaking to Australian channel Seven Network, Joshua commented recently: "When I found out that gay marriage was illegal in Australia, I was astounded. I simply can't fathom on any level, whether it's moral or religious or anything, that I have the right to get married and to marry the person that I love and that somebody else doesn't because of their sexual orientation".
Kylie and Joshua announced their engagement in Februrary - following a reported Christmas proposal - sharing a sweet Instagram post at the time of a type-written note to fans reading: "A huge thank you for all of your kind wishes today. Love & love, J & K x".
