Meghan Markle has sparked further speculation about an imminent engagement between herself and beau Prince Harry.
In a rare interview in the October edition of Vanity Fair magazine (left), the American actress described herself and Prince Harry as 'two people who are really happy'.
The chat was published as speculation continued the couple would announce their engagement imminently.
The Suits star revealed how the couple first met, revealing they were introduced in London and dated for around six months before their relationship was made public.
Speaking to Sam Kushner about their relationship, Meghan observed: "We’re a couple. We’re in love. I’m sure there will be a time when we will have to come forward and present ourselves and have stories to tell, but I hope what people will understand is that this is our time. This is for us".
She added: "It’s part of what makes it so special, that it’s just ours. But we’re happy. Personally, I love a great love story".
The interview was published as the odds that the couple would announce an engagement imminently were suspended by bookmakers.
Instead, bookies are now offering odds on when, exactly, the couple will get married; a 2017 wedding has odds of 16/1, with 2019 the more likely date (with odds of 6/4) - and 3/1 odds for a 2018 celebration.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said commented: "Punters are wondering who’ll pop first - Harry with the question or Kate with the baby. And as far as we’re concerned, it’s now a matter of when and not if Harry gets down on one knee this year".
Who'll pop first indeed - needless to say, we'll keep you posted!
