Preparing to say 'I do' in the cooler - but not quite winter - portion of the year? This autumn-fall shoot is about to whet your appetite in a major way: you'll be dreaming of crunchy leaves and bonfire-scented evenings...
At the heart of autumn is nature, so wrap up warm and head outdoors for a gorgeously seasonal reception...
Here, gold and brass details are perfectly contrasted with rich blooms; from rustic roses in dusky pinks to bright berries and blooms in shades of red, no arrangement is complete without a handful of foliage and a scattering of autumnal leaves.
Shot at Farley Estate in the heart of Berkshire, this autumnal shoot also featured a truly seasonal wedding cake; bronze tiers adorned with a cascade of fallen sugar leaves were the perfect pick for this heavenly set-up.
Just look at those details! Each leaf was handpainted with flicks of edible gold - adding a truly 24-carat finishing touch.
Key to the shoot was celebrating the rich colour palette that autumn offers: rich metallics and jewel-bright pops contrast effortlessly with muted shades of grey and pink.
Sumptuous gold accents add a hint of luxury to proceedings, whilst a twist of antique-inspired ribbon adds a shabby-chic finishing touch.
A collaborative effort between florists Blue Sky Flowers and The Flower Bird resulted in the decadent blooms you see here, with seasonal blooms and contrasting textures adding to the wild romance of the style.
Steal the look!
