Leah and Phil picked charming rustic-inspired details for their beautiful Berkshire wedding
Leah Hopkins, 26, who owns a wedding planning business, and Phil Lawther, 29, an electrician, were married in a religious ceremony at St Nicholas' Church before hosting their reception at Wasing Park, Aldermaston.

Phil and I met in a bar. We were on a weekend away in London for Phil's birthday when he proposed to me while we were lying in bed!
The theme of our day was country chic and rustic; I love everything about this look and it's really 'me.' Some of the more over the top themes just wouldn't have suited us. We wanted a church wedding and Wasing Park has a church within the grounds, meaning we could have everything in one place – less chance of people getting lost!
I loved all of the little details. So many people said how Happily Ever Lawther (my company) had thought about everything. We also had lots of finishing touches such as a vintage photo booth and little quirky signs that really made the day and set the theme off beautifully.
I absolutely adored our cake. It was three tiers; rocky road, lemon and carrot cake. There was a buttercream icing on the outside that had been carefully laced with pearls to match the buttons on the back of my dress.
The blooms were so important to us. They were the finishing touch as they bought everything to life and everyone said how beautiful they were.
We went for wild flowers to bring some colour to the day and they complemented the theme perfectly.
We went for charity donations instead of favours and everyone got a pin badge, as the charity meant a lot to both of us, and symbolised those that couldn't be with us on our special day.
I honestly can't pinpoint one thing that I loved the most, but the speeches really made me laugh. Thankfully all of the planning paid off and everything went smoothly.
We wanted everyone to enjoy the evening part, not just the youngsters, so we had old and new music and a fantastic live singer. I was the first and the last on the dancefloor – and I still have the blisters to prove it!
My tip for brides-to-be: Planning is crucial. The more you plan, the less you have to worry about leading up to the big day. And don't stress – the day goes by so fast, so make sure you enjoy it!
