They confirmed their engagement via an announcement in The Times two weeks ago - and now Kit Harington has spoken about how he proposed to Rose Leslie.
Or should that be - how he planned to propose.
During an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, the Game Of Thrones star revealed how he popped the question to Rose, who he fell in love with when they starred in the cult show alongside each other.
Kit admitted to Jonathan: "I did have some plans to [propose], I was going to string up some lights in some trees and do all the romantic stuff but we were in the country and we were under this beautiful night sky and had a log fire burning and red wine and I blew my load early".
He added: "Sorry that’s a really bad expression. I was meant to do it the day after with the lights. What I meant to say was, I popped my question a bit early. Not blew my load".
Kit's also revealed he wants the Game Of Thrones set to be shut down temporarily - so the couple's cast mates will be able to attend the nuptials.
He explained: "I rang [the producer] up and I said, ‘I’m getting married and it’s your fault actually’... I think for the final season he is so stressed that he’s reached that peaceful level. I was like, ‘You need to factor in a Game of Thrones wedding by the way.’ They [the cast] have all got to be there so the whole thing has got to shut down".
However, a wedding actually themed around Game Of Thrones itself would be a step too far for the couple, with Kit amusedly admitting: "There is absolutely no chance of me convincing her of that".
